Brilliant insight to life on the golf course during the 1890's boom years when the sport took off in participation numbers. Impressive research blended into a highly interesting diary of a lady golfer. I loved the format showing the diary text as it was written accompanied by suitable explanatory footnotes.Another great book from David Hamilton and thoroughly recommended.
